U.S. House Price Index - January 2026

U.S. house prices rose 0.6 percent in November, according to the U.S. Federal Housing (FHFA) seasonally adjusted monthly House Price Index (FHFA HPI®). House prices rose 1.9 percent from November 2024 to November 2025. The previously reported 0.4 percent price change in October remained unchanged. 

For the nine census divisions, seasonally adjusted monthly home price changes ranged from 0.0 percent in the Middle Atlantic division to +1.1 percent in the East South Central division. The 12-month changes ranged from -0.4 percent in the Pacific division to +5.1 percent in the East North Central division.
