Language Translation Disclosure

FHFA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have created a Language Translation Disclosure for borrowers about language-related services for mortgage transactions. The Disclosure states that the loan transaction is likely to be conducted in English and that not all communications related to a mortgage transaction will be in the borrower's preferred language. It refers borrowers to the multi-lingual housing counseling services that may be available from HUD-approved housing counseling agencies.
