The 2004 Report to Congress from the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) has been prepared to meet the statutory requirements in section 1319B of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 (Title XIII of P.L. 102-550). Chapter One reports on secondary market developments and OFHEO's regulatory, rulemaking, and reporting activities. Chapter Two analyses OFHEO's supervisory activities and the Enterprises' examination results. Chapter Three details OFHEO's budget and financial performance.
