Whether communicating in English or another language, using accurate and consistent terminology can improve the mortgage process for all parties involved. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, FHFA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac have collaborated to create standardized glossaries in Spanish and traditional Chinese. A glossary of English-Vietnamese financial terms is now available. Glossaries in other languages are planned for the future.
