Gina Screen, ACTING Director

Office of Congressional Affairs and Communications (OCAC)

As the Acting Director of OCAC, Screen oversees contact and coordination with all external parties – including members of the public, the media, Congress, stakeholders, and other government agencies – and with the FHFA workforce.

Before joining FHFA, Screen served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Office of Communications at the Veterans Health Administration in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. There she managed the planning and execution of strategic communications initiatives for VHA, the nation’s largest integrated health care system.

She has also served as a Senior Communications Advisor for the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae), where she managed strategic communications efforts to enhance visibility of Ginnie Mae in the mortgage finance industry.

Screen was a producer at WTTG-TV in Washington, DC, the Fox News Channel and America’s Black Forum, a nationally syndicated public affairs program. She has received three National Capital Region Emmy Award nominations and two NAACP Image Award nominations. Screen earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.
