COVID-19 Resources
FHFA is committed to providing resources to America's homeowners who have been affected by housing instability. In this section, you will find government programs to help improve your financial housing situation and information to resolve issues with the entities we regulate and supervise, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Federal Home Loan Banks.
If you've talked with your mortgage lender and still have issues or concerns, visit Complaints, Concerns & Questions for additional options and support.

As a financial regulator, FHFA is not able to offer direct assistance or field individual inquiries from renters, landlords, or borrowers. FHFA encourages anyone facing economic hardship to immediately contact their landlord or mortgage servicer (the company they send their mortgage payments to), to see if they qualify for payment relief.
