U.S. House Price Index - February 2019

The FHFA House Price Index (HPI) reported a 0.3 percent increase in U.S. house prices in February from the previous month.  From February 2018 to February 2019, house prices were up 4.9 percent.  For the nine census divisions, seasonally adjusted monthly price changes from January 2019 to February 2019 ranged from -1.2 percent in the Middle Atlantic division to +1.4 percent in the East South Central division.  The 12-month changes were all positive, ranging from +3.5 percent in the West South Central division to +6.5 percent in the Mountain division.​
